In this blog, I will highlight some Computer shortcuts and tricks you have to know on Microsoft Office Word. This will make typing easier for Computer operators

Control + A: To highlight/select all texts in the document
Control + B: To bold a text
Control + C: To copy selected texts
Control + D: To double a shape or to open Font, Character Spacing dialogue box
Control + E: To align text to the center of the page
Control + F: Find and replace, as it name have said it all. The command is used to Find a written text by just typing the text needed for replacement in the box provided.
Control + G: The command, Go to, is to quickly move to a page by just typing the page number
Control I: To italize text whereby texts will be in a slanted “/” form
Control + J: To align text in a Justify form where the sides of the all the written text column are straight (parallel) to each other
Control + K: This command can be use to insert hyperlink to a page
Control + L: The default one; to align text to the left side of the page
Control + M: This command is used to completely move a text from one margin to the other
Control + N: To open a new Microsoft Word document
Control + O: To open Microsoft Word Documents box
Control + P: To open print document(s) dialogue box
Control + R: To align text to the right side of the page
Control + S: To save document
Control + U: To underline a text
Control + V: To paste a copied item (texts, image, etc)
Control + W: To switch open document tabs of Microsoft Office Word
Control + X: To cut an item
Control + Y: To Redo Indent item
Control + Z: This command is useful to to undo Paragraph Alignment

Control + Arrow keys: To quickly move cursor to the beginning of a word using the command Ctrl + left arrow(β¬ ) or to the end of a word using Ctrl + right arrow(β‘)
Control + Delete/Backspace: To quickly erase a bunch of texts from the left to the right, use the command: Ctrl + Delete key or from to quickly erase texts from right to the left use the command: Ctrl + Backspace key
Control + Shift + Arrow key: To quickly highlight/select a bunch of text from the right side to the left side use Ctrl + Left arrow or from the left side to the right side use Ctrl + Right arrow
Control + ]: To grow/enlarge font size
Control + [: To shrink/decrease font size
Control + ): To enable or disable double line spacing
Shift + Insert: Alternative for Control + V; to paste copied text
F1: To open Microsoft Office word offline help
Control + F2: To preview a page
Shift + F3: To change text case (lowercase, UPPERCASE or Sentence Case)
Alt + F4: To close Microsoft Word document
Shift + F7: To open Spelling grammar check box
Control + Shift + =: To enable Superscript
Control + =: To enable Subscript
Alt + =: To view Equation tools
Control + Enter: To quickly move cursor to the next page
Control + F12: To re-save a document with a new name
